Underwater Inspection Controller - Immediate Start

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.Part of Project Management Team (PMT) for the specific project and/or Client assigned.
2.To obtain and ensure completeness of project Scope of Work and related document from Client e.g. drawing, previous report.
3.Identify the quantity, specification and provide recommendation of inspection personnel, inspection equipment and inspection document/procedure for the project and cascade the details with the relevant department/parties e.g. crewing team, support team.
4.Actively monitor and provide feedback/solution to ensure the required resources (personnel, equipment and document) are identified, made available and delivered for the intended project/work activities whether for onshore or offshore operation throughout the entire stage of operation e.g. preparation work, mobilization, project execution, demobilization, draft & final report compilation & submission and project close out.
5.To produce and prepare workpack, subsea inspection procedure, datasheet and other related documentation for project.
6.To identify, initiate and monitor procurement for project which includes but not limited to computer, printer, inspection equipment and stationaries, with assistance from other team member or relevant department.
7.Ensuring all inspection data & equipment are safely and properly transferred from offshore to office and vice versa.
8.To clarify and/or rectify any issues in subsea inspection matter with Client.
9.To designate and actively monitor draft & final report compilation & submission.
10.QAQC / Review all reports / project document related to subsea inspection prior to obtain operations approval.
11.Monitor offshore subsea inspection operation and guiding Report Coordinator and/or Data Recorder to ensure the inspection outcome complies with client’s requirement.
12.To involve, prepare and execute in mobilization & demobilization activities which includes manpower, equipment, document and briefing/meeting.
13.Updating the Project Manager and Lead, Subsea Inspection on subsea inspection’ status throughout the project stages which includes preparation work in office/onshore, mobilization, project execution, demobilization and project close out.
14.Perform evaluation and corrective action as necessary to ensure operation & deliverables are at acceptable level by Client.
15.Perform regular quality checks on offshore subsea inspection’s daily operation, datasheet, documentation e.g. anomaly report, preliminary report and provide assistance/feedback to offshore team as necessary.
16. Provide technical feedback on subsea inspection resource (personnel, equipment, document), technique, methodologies and operations to Project Management Team and Client during meeting and correspondence.
17. Ensuring that proper care of equipment is followed by offshore team and completeness & update of equipment inventory is in place.
18. Brief the offshore inspection personnel on requirement and expectation for the project and actively monitor their compliance to project requirement.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or GCE Ordinary Level (O Level) or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree from tertiary education institution is preferred.
• Have valid or previous hold the CSWIP 3.4U Underwater Inspection Controller certificate.
