Vice President, Operations

Master's degree (MBA) is preferred. Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role, ideally in medical device or highly regulated industries. Proven track record in managing large-scale, automated manufacturing environments with a focus on performance metrics such as yield, OEE, and cost optimization. Strong experience in capital investment analysis, financial justification, and leading successful project implementation. Strong understanding of quality systems, regulatory compliance, and the medical device industry's standards (e.g., ISO 13485, FDA regulations). Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to foster a high-performing, inclusive, and innovative culture. Experience in liaising with government authorities, regulatory bodies, and industry associations. Strong financial acumen and experience managing P&L for large-scale operations, including capital budgeting. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Ensure the production lines meet high standards of efficiency, quality, and safety, leveraging advanced automation technology. Ensure that manufacturing processes are optimized for maximum output and minimal waste, maintaining competitive costs and continuously improving performance in terms of yield, quality, OEE, and customer satisfaction. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that products are manufactured to meet customer specifications and delivery timelines, while maintaining the highest quality standards. Lead quality initiatives to ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards and regulations. Collaborate with quality teams to maintain a consistent focus on product integrity and safety. Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and with a focus on long-term operational efficiency and return on investment (ROI). Build and maintain strong relationships with global leadership and cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment of the Malaysia site's operations with global strategies and objectives. Manage the site's budget, cost controls, and financial planning to meet financial goals and optimize resource allocation. Evaluate cost-saving opportunities, including capital investments, to drive operational efficiency.
