About the Role
PlayPickleball.com is looking for a skilled offshore video editor to support our growing YouTube channel. The channel focuses primarily on pickleball tutorial and educational content, so this role requires both strong video editing skills and a solid understanding of pickleball terminology and gameplay.
This editor will work closely with our team to turn raw instructional footage into clear, engaging, high-quality YouTube videos.
Responsibilities
- Edit long-form YouTube videos focused on pickleball tutorials, drills, and strategy
- Cut and assemble raw footage into polished, engaging final videos
- Add text overlays, lower thirds, callouts, and basic motion graphics when helpful for instruction
- Sync audio, clean up sound, and ensure professional pacing
- Follow brand and formatting guidelines for YouTube
- Make revisions based on feedback in a timely manner
- Organize files and maintain consistent workflow standards
Requirements
- Fluent in English (spoken and written) — must clearly understand pickleball terminology, instruction, and feedback
- Strong understanding of pickleball (rules, shots, strategies, and common language)
- Proficiency in professional video editing software such as:
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Final Cut Pro
- DaVinci Resolve
- Experience editing educational or tutorial-style YouTube content
- Strong attention to detail and storytelling clarity
- Reliable internet connection and ability to meet deadlines
- Comfortable working with cloud-based file sharing (Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.)
Nice to Have (Not Required)
- Experience editing sports or instructional content
- Familiarity with YouTube best practices (retention, pacing, thumbnails, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics or animated text
- Experience working with creators or brands in the sports/fitness space

- Tutorials that are easy to follow, clean, and engaging
- Clear visuals that enhance learning (text, highlights, slow-downs when needed)
- Consistent turnaround times and smooth communication
- Ability to understand feedback and implement it quickly
