Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and overseeing the operations of the warehouse, ensuring enhances efficiency, reduce operational costs, improve service quality and timely delivery of goods.
- Oversee all aspects of the warehouse's operations.
- Ensure appropriate staffing levels to handle peak workloads.
- Maintains warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
- Good leadership skill and interpersonal skills when interacting with all levels
- Positive working attitude, good in analytical, effective time management and problem-solving skills when making decisions
- Supervise daily warehouse activity, including quality assurance, inventory control space management and logistics.
- Schedule and oversee warehouse team, and manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime.
- Handle all issues and do plannings to ensure adequate resources in place to cater bulk stock orders for holidays and peak seasons.
- Supervise, arrange and monitor the team on stock take and ensure no discrepancies.
- Responsible in the accuracy of inventory updating into the system by daily basis.
- Performing inventory inspections and reordering supplies and stock as necessary.
- Inspecting stock and reporting any faulty items or inconsistencies immediately.
- Coordinating with the delivery team and following up on delays or orders that have been rescheduled.
- Communicate and coordinate with relevant departmental head to ensure and maintain a safe healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing standards and procedures by complying with legal regulations.
- Prepare monthly stock usage report and related analysis according to requirement
Job Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a SPM or equivalent
- Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, MANDARIN, English.
- At least 1-2 years of working experience in the related field
- Well-versed experience in warehouse operations
- Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate, educate and coordinate a team
- Preferably team-oriented, cross-functional, collaborative environment
- Computer literate (able to handle Microsoft Word, Excel etc) is a plus
- Multi-tasking, prioritization and time management skill
- Applicants must be willing to work in Section 26 or/and Section 36, Shah Alam.
