Warehouse Manager 1

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage a team of staff to provide an acceptable level of logistic support cum warehousing needs with error free inventory control. 


• Do ' whatever it takes' to meet or exceed our customers' expectation in compliance with the Quality Policy. 


• Lead a team of staff pertaining to import/export and warehousing function. 


• Develop and implement effective storage systems.


•  Develop and implement procedures to ensure compliance to import/export regulations and facilitate fast customs clearance of materials. 


• Build working relationship with various external bodies for insight into future trends development. 


• Implement freight cost control program in monitoring finish goods and raw materials delivery costs. 


• Planning of logistic support to ensure timely delivery of goods. 


• Ensure staff's compliance to rules and regulations. 


• Participation in cost control and quality programs. 


• Develop staff to be able to handle future trends.

Education & Experience

• General first degree. 


• MRP knowledge. .


• Computer literate 


• Min 5 years at supervisory level in an electronics high volume manufacturing environment. 


• Knowledge of air freighting procedures.


• Indepth understanding of customs/MIDA regulations. 

Skills

• Articulate with good communications skills and ability to interact with all levels.
