Warehouse Manager

JOB INTRODUCTION:

We are looking for an effective Warehouse Manager to direct receiving, warehousing and distribution operations. You will oversee the efficient receipt, storage, value-adding servicing and dispatch of a wide variety of products.

Ultimately, you should be able to ensure productivity targets are achieved and that all warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision
• To lead and manage receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations
• Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
• Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization
• Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures.
• Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements
• Liaise with clients, transport companies and shipping companies
• Assist in stock variances and report on issues pertaining to stock losses etc.
• Ensure timely and accurate update of materials and stock movement records and to submit all relevant documents to the respective departments for processing.
• Plan work rotes, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results
• Able to undertake ad-hoc tasks and related duties as and when required from time to time.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Possess at least Diploma/Degree in Warehouse & Logistics Management or equivalent;
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in Management Level in Warehouse & Logistics operations;
• Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
• Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
• Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases
• Able to speak in Cantonese will be added advantage.
• Leadership skills and ability to manage a team.

• Excellent communication skills
• Able to handle incoming/outgoing cargo traffic.
