Warehouse Officer

Warehousing, Storage & Distribution (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)

1. Perform receiving, storing, shipping, distributing activities for all incoming material or shipments.
2. Checking incoming or outgoing shipments by such methods as counting, measuring, weighing, issuing and requisitioning items.
3. Responsible for keeping related clerical records, gathering, sorting packed items for shipment, manually addressing and affixing consignment note to the packages, unpacking and storing incoming shipments.
4. Responsible for identification of goods and rejects damaged items, records shortages and corresponds with purchasing department.
5. May also operate hand truck or forklift to move, convey or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage or work area.
6. May also receive damaged or defective goods return to establishment.
7. Responsible for stock control of raw materials, parts and other equipments.
8. Execute stock checking activities inclusive stock audits (Internal / External) and yearly stock reconciliation.
9. Maintain of housekeeping in warehouse.
10. Complies with working rules and procedures.
11. Reports any equipment or process malfunction to superior.
12. Responsibility for maintain reports pertaining to the warehouse include inventory of stock, dead stock, consumption and manpower.
13. Providing the setup layout & location plan.
14. To act on any other responsibilities and duties as may be directed from time to time.
