Warehouse Operations Manager - Start Immediately

1. Warehousing and Logistics Operations:

Ensure proper planning and execution of daily operational activities in compliance with SOPs, achieving operation KPIs, and meeting customer expectations. Monitor and control all warehousing and distribution activities to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and meeting required lead-time. Ensure all transactions are processed accurately and timely, including updating warehouse systems. Exercise good inventory control by conducting daily and monthly cyclical counts, maintaining good stock integrity and accuracy at all times. Investigate and report any stock discrepancies promptly. Liaise and coordinate with third-party suppliers (transporters, contractors, etc.) to meet operational needs and performance levels (KPIs).

2. Customer Service and Relationship Management:

Maintain good customer relationships by providing high-quality customer service, meeting customer requests and standards, and identifying ways to exceed their expectations. Provide support and attend to customer inquiries, such as inventory and shipment/order status, warehouse management reports, and distribution arrangement status. Provide consistent quality customer service by constantly improving work processes and procedures, ensuring compliance and implementation of standard operating procedures, business rules, and established KPIs. Attend to all customer complaints and coordinate investigations.

3. Process and System Control & Improvements:

Design, develop, and implement strategic and productive initiatives to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity of logistics operations through better utilization and optimization of resources (space, manpower, equipment). Identify, develop, and implement effective cost reduction initiatives by improving cost structure of warehouse and distribution through reducing cycle time, improving workflow and processes, and minimizing manpower.

4. People Management and Development:

Manage the team through effective planning, organizing, and controlling work schedules and headcount mobilization. Effectively train the team to better equip themselves with required competencies and skills to enhance productivity and provide service excellence to customers. Support and encourage the development of a continuous improvement culture in the workplace through implementation of continuous improvement programs. Ensure effective human relations management with the team and provide a conducive working environment and atmosphere for better enhancement of productivity and efficiency.

5. Facility Maintenance and Administration of Documentation:

Maintain good housekeeping of warehouse and equipment as well as zero accident rates. Ensure proper maintenance and utilization of equipment through effective preventive maintenance programs, monitoring equipment conditions and use practices to ensure safe operations. Continuously instill and implement good housekeeping, safety, and security policies and procedures, and carry out daily inspections and audits.
