Warehouse Supervisor (Batang Kali)

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

1. Assist the Superior planning, organizing and execution of warehouse daily operations and activities. Daily manpower planning for pick and pack process for all storekeepers.
2. Assist the Superior in managing inventory control and policing the maximum and efficient utilization of floor space. Responsible for stock aging disposal procedures.
3. Conduct cycle count as and when necessary to improve stock accuracy. Planning for pre-stock take activity and involve actively during yearly stock take. 
4. Maintain a system of minimum good handling and ensure that storage space has good accessibility for handling equipment. 
5. Ensure that the company material handling equipment (forklift and reach truck) are properly manned and maintained. 
6. Ensure that the goods consigned to production and goods received from suppliers are correct in description and quantity and in good condition. 
7. To monitor and control warehouse expenses and replenish consumable stock when required. 
8. Supervise and monitor the loading and unloading activities in warehouse to ensure safety and prevent damage on goods delivered or received. 
9. To work together with warehouse executive to become final checker to ensure goods loaded are correct and in good condition for both local deliveries and oversea shipments. 
10. Ensure that all security and arrangement are taken after the store has ceased operation for the day.
11. Maintain good housekeeping at the stock yard and warehouse.
12. Provide coaching and training to storekeepers. 
13. Other tasks as assigned by Management from time to time.

Required Skills/Abilities(include Education,Working Experience,skill and so on): 

1. Candidate must possess a lease SPM or Certificate in related or equivalent field. Diploma holder will have an added advantage.
2. At least 3 years of related working experience in warehouse or logistic is required for this position.
3. Knowledge in clerical administration, computer literate & typing skill in an advantage.
4. Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
5. Willing to work at Batang Kali.
