Job Description
Job Responsibilities
Build and manage relationships with emerging affluent clients, ensuring a high standard of service and client satisfaction
Understand clients’ financial goals, risk profiles, and investment preferences to deliver personalised wealth solutions
Promote and market a comprehensive suite of banking and investment products, including:
Unit trusts
Insurance and protection products
Treasury and investment solutions
Provide sound financial advice to support clients in effective wealth management and portfolio expansion
Identify opportunities to deepen relationships through proactive cross-selling of banking products and services
Participate in structured training and development programmes to build advisory, product, and sales capabilities
Address and resolve client queries and service issues promptly, ensuring a seamless client experience
Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies at all times
Job Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Finance, Business or Economics is an advantage)
Minimum 2–3 years of sales experience (e.g. Insurance, FMCG, telco, property, automotive, or other client-facing sales roles)
Proven track record in achieving or exceeding sales targets
Strong interest in transitioning into wealth management / banking sales
Demonstrated ability to build relationships, influence clients, and close deals
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong customer-centric approach
Highly driven, results-oriented, and self-motivated with strong resilience
High level of integrity and professionalism
Willingness to obtain relevant industry certifications (e.g. PCE, CEILI, FIMM or equivalent)
Willingness to be based at UOB branches within Klang Valley
