Retail Sales Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Engagement & Sales

1. Welcome customers warmly and build genuine rapport to understand their needs.
2. Provide personalised styling advice and guide customers through the product selection process.
3. Share in-depth knowledge of product features, benefits, and brand heritage to enhance the shopping experience.
4. Proactively work towards achieving individual and store sales targets.

Store Presentation & Merchandising

1. Maintain impeccable visual merchandising standards in line with brand guidelines.
2. Ensure all merchandise is presented in the correct sizes, colours, and quantities on the shop floor.
3. Keep the store, fitting rooms, and display areas clean, tidy, and inviting at all times.

Operations & Stock Management

1. Assist in receiving, processing, and replenishing stock, including inter-store transfers.
2. Participate in regular stock counts and support inventory control measures.
3. Follow all store operating procedures to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Teamwork & Brand Representation

1. Support the Store Manager in daily operations and promotional activities.
2. Collaborate with team members to create a positive, efficient, and sales-focused work environment.
3. Act as a brand ambassador, reflecting the company’s values and image in every customer interaction.

Job Requirements

1. Qualification : Minimum SPM, Diploma, or equivalent education and above.
2. Experiences :
3. 1–2 years of experience in retail sales, preferably in fashion or lifestyle brands.
4. Fresh graduates with strong passion for retail are encouraged to apply.
5. Knowledge :
6. Familiarity with retail operations, visual merchandising, and stock management is a plus.
7. Basic computer literacy (MS Office, POS systems).
8. Qualities :
9. Passion for fashion and styling with a keen eye for detail.
10. Sales and KPI driven, with a proactive and positive attitude.
11. Well-groomed, professional appearance.
12. Flexible to work on weekends, public holidays, and shift hours.
13. Skills :
14. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
15. Ability to provide personalised styling and product recommendations.
16. Good command of spoken and written English, proficiency in Malay and Mandarin is an advantage.
