JOB SUMMARY
Area Sales Manager has responsibility for managing sales. To achieve, meet and exceed sales target set by the Company
WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
· CEO and all Heads of Divisions and Sales Director
· Business Partners (PESB & CIMB) & Customers
Strategic role
· Identify and assess marketing opportunities and threats with view to enhance the Company’s marketing edge and product/market leadership.
· Assist Management to formulate and develop marketing action plan and program to intensify the Division’s strategic business relationship and the aggressive marketing of the products and services to corporation, financial and government institutions.
Main role
In relation to Marketing function
· To achieve, meet and exceed targets set by the Company.
· To establish good working relationship and support from all relevant parties.
· To implement strategies for improvement of Business Centres
· To monitor and ensure Business Support/Business Sales Manager staff work towards meeting the target set
· To promote Marketing Incentives, Promotions and Packages to PESB Sales Network.
· To ensure number of visitation to PESB and CIMB networks are according to scheduled planned.
In relation to Credit Evaluation function .
· Loan is recommended based on compliance to Company/Statutory guidelines.
· Proper monitoring system to follow-up on documents
· Operating quality and effective underwriting processes to ensure the highest service delivery standard and speed in strict adherence with Company guidelines.
· Coordinate the cross-product sales activities of the area sales teams to ensure optimal customer reach and product exposure.
In relation to Administrative function
· Review workforce requirements from time to time to ensure sales targets are met.
· Coordinate and assist HRD during recruitment, interview and assessment of potential candidates for respective department.
· Determine and communicate performance expectations effectively to all Business Support staff
· Monitor Business Support staff performance and take corrective actions when needed
· To liaise with the respective HO divisions/departments section along functional lines
· Ensure that all General Circular/Policy Circular issued by management are cascaded down and discussed with the staff
.Conduct monthly meeting with all Auto Loan Consultant.
· Ensure timely recommendation of payment of expenses ie, claims, bills, etc,
· Approve leave application and exercise discretion on the appointment of relief personnel.
· Finalize yearly appraisal of the Auto Loan Consultant
· Assign other duties and responsibilities to the staff reporting to him
· Coaching, guiding and mentoring the sales team.
· Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Management from time to time.
