About the department

The Sales team in Novo Nordisk Malaysia consists of highly motivated people who are passionate about changing diabetes and in close collaboration with other internal stakeholders. We educate our customers on our products and more importantly the disease area. We help them to make the right choices for their patients, building relationships based on mutual respect, honesty, and business ethic. You will report to GLP-1 Diabetes Field Sales Manager, Malaysia.

 

The position
As a Sales Executive, you will have the full responsibility and accountability for the assigned region in order to achieve market share growth. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Analysing and diagnosing the market to develop and execute a territory plan.
• Building effective relationships with assigned customers and providing them with information on our products, devices, and indications.
• Ensuring timely and consistent follow-up with customers.
• Actively participating and contributing effectively to regional meetings, national conferences, and other related meetings.
• Collaborating with colleagues from Marketing, Market Access, and CMR to maximize the sales of Novo Nordisk products.

 

Qualifications
• At least 4 years of field sales experience in the Malaysia market, specifically in the Central Region, and a strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry.
• A University Degree in any science, business, marketing, or equivalent.
• A self-starter with a highly engaged and positive attitude, dynamic and highly results-driven with excellent networking abilities.
• Good track record, medical knowledge, and ability to quickly adjust to new situations in a continuously developing environment.
• Valid driving license and willingness to travel extensively within Peninsular Malaysia.
