Purpose:
Execute business strategy to achieve net sales, net margin, and inventory and SKU productivity for assigned category. Contribute relevant portions of annual and seasonal business plans on appropriate timelines.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage inventory to category goals by maintaining buying controls and close out discount.
- Assist to build range assortment and merchandising by category and brands, give clear product direction and information to operation team.
- Through direction of the Store Manager, ensure successful implementation of programs, policies, routine and seasonal initiatives, and specific store needs.
- Generate monthly report and take action accordingly.
- Manage the sell-through report by meeting the Principle requirements.
- Manage all stores stock inventory report by SKU and take action accordingly.
- Manage each brand's order by its performance and manage its inventory.
- Communicate the pricing strategies for the product if the sell-through is below forecast.
- Manage each store inventory and optimum stock level for every brand.
- Identify the products that maximize profitability/productivity and present those to the General Manager.
- Manage product delivery by brands.
- Manage the process with effective communication and action steps in order to achieve margin, profitability, and inventory.
- Ability to work with and influence all levels of the organization.
- Manage seasonal markdown or pullback to ensure every store inventory is healthy.
- Manage all the Inventory related issues.
Job Requirement:
Familiar with OTB. Good with Excel. Proficient skills in merchandising and inventory management. Ability to read and communicate effectively. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively through multiple lines of communication. Ability to quickly learn new systems (e.g. POS systems, web-portals, etc.).
Qualifications (Minimum required education and experience):
College or University degree, preferred related field. Prior management and keyed experience preferred.
