We are currently seeking an enthusiastic individual to fill the role of Technical Sales Representative for the Northern region of Malaysia. In this position, you will undergo comprehensive training covering all aspects of machine tooling.

Responsibilities:

Act as a Technical Sales Representative for the Northern region of Malaysia.

Cultivate and maintain existing customer relationships while actively seeking opportunities for business expansion within the designated area, spanning from Perak to Kedah.

Preference for candidates based in the greater Butterworth area however, applicants from other locations within the specified geographical region will also be considered.

This is a full-time, permanent position with a starting monthly salary of RM 4,000 and above.

Direct reporting to the National Sales and Operations Manager.

Key Duties:

Promote and market new tools and sharpening services.

Collaborate closely with senior management and directors in client-facing roles.

Provide technical advice and assistance to customers within the assigned area.

Oversee and manage customer machine tool investments from the tooling perspective.

Coordinate with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) during customer machine investments.

Ensure customer details, including machine listings, are accurately maintained.

Act as the primary point of contact for technical inquiries at the Leitz Malaysia service center.

Requirements:

• Passion for advancing in the field of tooling.
• Essential attributes include punctuality, dependability, and accountability.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proficient in English, Bahasa Malay and Mandarin.
• Valid driving license and own vehicle.
• Eligibility to work in Malaysia.
• Eagerness to learn, acquire new skills and aptitude for problem-solving.

Previous experience in technical sales is advantageous.

Background in machining/engineering is advantageous.
