Job Title:
- Treasury Assistant Manager
Objective:
- Establish and lead the treasury function within the organization, ensuring effective management of financial resources and optimizing liquidity.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement treasury policies, procedures, and controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Oversee cash management, including forecasting, monitoring daily cash positions, and optimizing cash balances.
- Manage relationships with financial institutions, negotiating banking services, and evaluating banking fees and structures.
- Execute and manage the organization's financial risk management strategies, including foreign exchange, interest rate, and commodity risk.
- Monitor debt levels and compliance with debt covenants, recommending appropriate actions to optimize the capital structure.
- Evaluate investment opportunities and make recommendations to maximize returns on surplus funds.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as finance, accounting, and legal teams, to ensure alignment with overall financial objectives.
- Stay informed about market trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes affecting treasury operations.
- Prepare reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders on treasury activities and financial performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA or professional certifications like CTP, CFA, or ACT are a plus).
- Proven experience (min 5 years) in treasury roles, demonstrating progressive responsibility.
- Strong knowledge of financial markets, banking, and investment instruments.
- Experience with treasury management systems (TMS) and financial modeling.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
