Finance Manager Cum Controller

In this role you'll be looking over the entire financial management and reporting function for Newswav. Providing support to the CEO and management team, you'll enjoy initiating improvements to provide meaningful value to the business. The ability to communicate with the business and key stakeholders is vital. Responsibilities:

• Managing all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Counsel, and Revenue Recognition
• Preparation of regular reporting including but not limited to budget and financial forecasts, report variances, financial statements
• Supporting month-end and year-end bank reconciliation and analysis
• Ensuring quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
• Spearheading company fund management and capital acquisition
• Manage and comply with local state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings (e.g. Corporation Tax and SST Compliances/Reporting)
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
• Additional controller duties as necessary

; JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Excellent knowledge of accounting systems like Xero, or similar software
• High command of MS Applications especially Excel
• Analytical skills and attention to detail
