Description
- Prepare group consolidation reports to Bursa and the BOD on a timely basis
- Develop and implement financial strategies and policies in accordance with business requirements to ensure the financial stability and growth of the company.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to provide accurate and timely financial information to stakeholders.
- Manage the budgeting and forecasting process, working closely with department heads to develop annual budgets and long-term financial plans.
- Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying variances and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Oversee the preparation and submission of regulatory filings and reports in compliance with the regulations.
- Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Develop and implement internal controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks.
- Manage treasury functions, including cash flow management, investment strategies, and banking relationships.
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support strategic decision-making and business planning initiatives.
- Supervise and mentor finance team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Stay abreast of changes in accounting standards, regulations, and industry trends relevant to companies and ensure compliance across the organization.
- Liaise with senior management and board members to provide financial insights and recommendations for improving financial performance and shareholder value.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA/ACCA preferred
- Auditors are preferred
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and influence decision-making at all levels of the organization.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of integrity and ethical standards, with a commitment to accuracy and attention to detail.
