Head, Agency Recruitment

The Head, Agency Recruitment is responsible for converting corporate strategy into tactical solutions to deliver on headcount scale-up and capability development of the agency leaders. As a part of the distribution function, he/she will also be expected to provide inputs and recommendations to the overall agency distribution strategy. Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the delivery of the Agent recruitment goal for the year
• Design, maintain and evolve the recruitment pitch books and overall financing packages
• Own the digital recruitment platform for overall onboarding of agents
• Collaborate with Agency Director and ensure execution of the recruitment activities to deliver recruitment goals
• Engage with the Unit Manager, Agency Leaders and Corporate Agency CEOs to scale up the recruitment of agents and leaders through Recruitment Programs in place
• Responsible for the development of the overall capability development roadmap for Agency Leaders
• Establish systems, processes and procedures for the effective and efficient management of the activities within recruitment and leader capability development
• Needs analysis of the capability and knowledge gaps across the various segments of the agency leaders with targeted learning plan leveraging internal and external resources
• Deep engagement with the training team and Agency Directors to identify the programs targeting each of the leadership segments
• Strategize new programs / enhancements to programs to meet the organization objectives
• Prepare and manage the budget and monitor the same and ensure effective and efficient use of the company resources

Key Requirements

• Minimum bachelor’s degree
• 10 to 15 years or more relevant experience in business development and agency management preferably in a life insurance setting
• Ability to develop and execute sound business plans
• Proven leadership and influencing skills
• Excellent management skills
• High sense of business ethics and professionalism
• Strong business and financial acumen
• Good interpersonal skills
