Responsibilities

• To carry out risk based internal audits on all functional areas in accordance with approved Internal Audit plans;
• To lead special projects/ assignment or investigation as may be assigned from time to time
• To draft concise audit reports with comprehensive audit conclusions and propose focused recommendations that ultimately add value to the company.
• To ensure approved SOPs’, Quality Management systems and regulatory procedures and requirements are complied with;
• To make recommendations on areas for improvements in processes and operational controls and systems where necessary;
• To implement new audit initiatives to maintain, develop and improve internal control, risk management and governance framework;
• To participate actively in internal review meetings, interviews and meetings with auditees; and
• To review SOP’s and process flows in all functional areas and where necessary propose improvements to enhance internal controls, streamline process and improve efficiency and effectiveness;
• Any other responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements

• Degree holder, preferable in Accounting, Finance, Business or other relevant fields. Added advantage will be a professional qualification such as CIA, CISA, ACCA, CPA, etc.
• Possess at least 1 (one) year’s working experience in an Internal Audit or External Audit role, at least in a sizeable company or mid-size firm.
• Fresh graduates, with the right aptitude, are also encouraged to apply.
• Able to work independently as well as in a close-knit dynamic team to meet deadlines, KPIs and IA department’s objectives.
• Possess good communication skills to interact at all levels, coupled with good report writing skills (strong command of English is mandatory);
• Able to research and quickly understand new topics, processes and identify key controls and risk management matters.
• Proactive, resourceful and possess innovative mindset and high level of initiative to identify areas for audits or matters for improvements.
• Strong analytical skills to collate and interpret data sets to identify patterns, trends, exceptions, areas of concern and for improvements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, or MS Office.
