Manufacturing Engineer

Job Summary:

• May assist with hiring manufacturing engineers.
• Mentors and trains junior manufacturing engineers on policies and SOP.
• May assist with performance evaluations.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Lead of one wet process functional team (Plating/Surface finishing/Soldermask)
• Develop process operating procedure and design rules
• Lead engineering team to conduct process capability & productivity improvement projects
• Conduct root cause analysis or troubleshooting of product or process defect
• Liaise with facilities & supplier for equipment installation, commissioning, material or product qualification
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent communication skills and strong leadership
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Extensive knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes, electroplating/ surface finish experience is preferred
• Thorough understanding of federal, state, local, and industry standards, guidelines, and regulations.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline required.
• At least 3 years of PCB related experience required supervisory experience is a plus.
• Candidate with less experience will be considered as manufacturing engineer
