Our Information and Cyber Security (ICS) team sits within the Transformation, Technology and Operations (TTO) function and is responsible for all mission-critical and enterprise-wide areas of cybersecurity, including identity and access management, global threat intelligence, data protection, malware protection, and application and infrastructure security. These are challenges that impact our clients globally.

Our ICS Portfolio team develops the platforms, drives the processes and builds partnerships on behalf of ICS. The successful candidate will be part of the Portfolio Management and Analytics cluster within the ICS (Information Cyber Security) Portfolio Enablement hive. You will report to the Portfolio Management and Analytics cluster Product Owner.

Regulatory and Business Conduct

  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
  • Lead the ICS CASE Demand Management function to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank’s Conduct Principles: Fair Outcomes for Clients; Effective Financial Markets; Financial Crime Compliance; The Right Environment.
  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

Other Responsibilities

You will be responsible for

  • Driving the establishment, maintenance and closure of investment using tools including Sharepoint, JIRA, Clarity and Confluence, and also Azure DevOps and Planview which are slated to replace JIRA and Clarity respectively in due course. You will work with the respective delivery teams and team leads to ensure all the records of the investment meets the quality requirements i.e. BIRD, Memo (Initiative RAG), JIRA (Epic) and Clarity Data Quality. You will inspire and lead continuous improvement of processes, tools and behaviours in your team.
  • Drive the investment prioritisation and decision-making process and work with senior leaders across ICS to help shape the organisation's Change and Investment strategy.
  • Drive the outcomes of the team to deliver on their objectives and key results. Build and prioritise the product backlog to achieve business goals and manage stakeholder relationships to align expectation, prioritisation and overall product roadmap.

Our Ideal Candidate

  • Product Owner or Scrum Master certification is beneficial but not essential. Ways of Working and Product Owner training and coaching will be provided to the successful candidate.
  • Certification in industry wide change management frameworks such as PROSCI ADKAR is also a plus.
