PUPILLAGE/ LEGAL ASSOCIATE

Job Description:

PUPILLAGE
• Assisting the team with legal research, drafting and preparation of legal documents.
• Any other ad-hock task assigned.
• Possess a valid Bachelor Degree in Law with Hons.
• Proactive and able to meet deadlines
• Responsible, dedicated and committed
• Must possess a good personality and is a good team player
• A particular focus in construction dispute resolution including
adjudication
• Exposure to regular Court/Arbitration appearance and
Advocacy LEGAL ASSOCIATE
• You will be assigned to handle litigation, construction and
corporate matters based on your experience and skill set.
• Selected candidate(s) will be exposed to a wide range of
work including CIPAA adjudication, arbitration and
construction litigation.
• This is a great opportunity for an associate who has
developed a strong foundation in litigation who aims to excel
in the area.

Qualifications and Requirements:

PUPILLAGE
• Bachelor’s Degree in Law.
• Good working attitude, diligent, hardworking, reliable,
responsible and meticulous with details.
• Presentable and professional appearance.
• Punctual and able to handle pressure well.
• Possess good communication skills.
• Resourceful, with good initiative and mindful of turn-around
time for work completion.
• Applicant must possess good written and verbal
communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Able and willing to commence pupillage immediately. LEGAL ASSOCIATE
• Candidate must possess a valid practicing certificate.
• Minimum 3-5 years of work experience in the area of
General Litigation.
• Conduct full trial independently and is well versed in
litigation trial process.
• Sound technical knowledge of the Law in relevant areas with
good analytical skills.
• Prepare and draft cause papers, pleadings and submission
competently.
• Prepare and draft legal opinions and conduct research on all
legal and related matters.
• Quick and sharp to attend to clients and other works
assigned by the firm from time to time.
• It is imperative to have a strong command of the English and
Bahasa Malaysia languages, both written and spoken.
• Take responsibilities very seriously.
