Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain test automation frameworks for Agile squad.
• Develop functional, integration test cases, and test artifacts for SDLC.
• Review functional requirements and determine data requirements.
• Execute manual or automated test cases, validate functionalities, and report results.
• Take ownership of tasks, manage them proactively end to end.
• Research emerging test tools, trends, and methodologies.
• Collaborate effectively with distributed teams across multiple locations.
• Demonstrate creativity and strategic thinking in challenging projects.
• Engage in continuous career development and learning.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field.
• Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, or C# is essential .
• Experience with Selenium / WebDriver, Junit/TestNG for web testing.
• Expertise in testing Web services and APIs.
• Understanding of software quality assurance practices.
• Experience in continuous integration and code review practices strongly desired.
• Financial Services background preferred.
• Experience in Agile software development, familiarity with Jira and Confluence required .
• Familiarity with JMeter or LoadRunner for load and performance testing, and scripting languages like Python necessary.
• Experience with AWS Cloud Technologies is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours to support the release process required.
