R&D Test Engineer – Fiber Access Networks

We are hiring Test Engineers to support the development and quality assurance of fiber broadband access solutions. You will work on PON technologies (GPON, XGS-PON, 50G PON), ensuring product stability and performance for real-world deployments.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design and execute test plans and test cases for OLT/ONU systems
2. Perform functional, performance, and regression testing
3. Identify, analyze, and troubleshoot software defects
4. Support end-to-end (E2E) testing and system validation
5. Develop and maintain automated test scripts
6. Collaborate with engineering teams on defect resolution and release validation

Requirements (Must-Have)

1. Experience in fiber / PON technologies (GPON, XGS-PON, etc.)
2. 2+ years in embedded software testing or telecom product testing
3. Strong understanding of telecom/network fundamentals
4. Hands-on experience in test design, execution, and debugging

Preferred Skills

1. Knowledge of OLT/ONU architecture and OMCI protocol
2. Experience with automation (Python or scripting)
3. Familiarity with telecom testing tools and frameworks
4. Understanding of IEEE 1588v2 / PTP / NTP
