We are looking for an immediate, full-time, permanent position in APAC at Cyberjaya, Malaysia.

Job Purpose:

The core job purpose is design, operation, and continuous improvement of performance measurement and analytics across Corporate Procurement. As a member of the Performance Management team, you will design and implement the Performance Management strategy including but not limited to Time, Improvement, Scope, Goals, Efficiency, Monitored, Priorities, and Balanced Scorecard. You will bring the Procurement organization from Good to Great using DPDHL continuous improvement tools and methodologies and use best practices for Sourcing. Providing and facilitating training will be an important part of the job.

Your tasks:

  • Drive continuous improvement for performance management initiatives as well as manage key projects across the procurement organization related to DPDHL Procurement Strategy 2025
  • Ensure effective performance management including definition of effective and SMART KPIs, tools and methods for evaluating procurement performance and provide transparency, reporting and insights on the key points to implement best practices and tailored actions in Sourcing
  • Drive change management and continuous improvement bring of performance management within the sourcing team and as the new way of working and thinking
  • Provide inputs in the design and delivery of procurement processes, standards, policies, tools, and best practices
  • Engage with different levels of seniority within Procurement, including senior management as primary stakeholders, across the region, respective countries, categories, and business units utilizing a Global attitude and approach
  • Assist others within the team through explanation of facts, policies, practices and action plans
  • Build and maintain relationships to understand customer and key stakeholders interests and concerns
  • Address task-related issues appropriately while maintaining a Right 1st Time approach
  • Apply a range of data analysis techniques enabling senior leaders to have a detailed understanding of the effectiveness of sourcing services, potential risks and lines of enquiry that require further review or audit.
  • Develop organizational performance indicators, scorecards and dashboards related to sourcing service quality and performance; and work with relevant cross-departmental colleagues to identify methods to collect and analyze such indicators.
  • Develop and maintain a process for gathering, validating, and analyzing performance information relating to corporate procurement plans/strategies, key policies and standards, service effectiveness and service risk.
  • Work with sourcing community and relevant colleagues to identify performance indicators that can be benchmarked against best practice.
  • Improve understanding of performance management and data analysis across the sourcing community; providing training, advice and support to the sourcing teams.
  • Develop a clear and achievable annual work plan that illustrates forthcoming priorities based on analysis of available data and intelligence.
  • Develop a clear understanding of scope and content of performance reports required by the senior leaders. Establish a process for creating the reports within the relevant timescales.
  • Identify performance monitoring gaps, clarify the implications of the gaps, and make recommendations as to how the gaps should be addressed.

Your profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree or 3 years of experience/qualification
  • Procurement background with specialization in processes and performance
  • Ability to manage complex projects under time pressure
  • Utilize mature advisor mindset to communicate relevant and succinct messaging to senior leaders
  • Flexibility and availability to attend virtual meetings outside of standard working hours (typically between 7pm and 10 pm, approximately 1x per week)
  • Passionate to work in very agile environments and ability to adjust to changing environments
  • High degree of customer orientation
  • Ability to motivate teams in very dynamic situations, focusing on finding best possible solutions to drive projects successfully
  • Passionately driving own ideas and convincing people
  • Knowledge of COUPA, Jaggaer (ex BravoSolution) beneficial
  • MS Power BI knowledge beneficial
  • Fluent in English
  • Lean / 6 Sigma, PMP Certifications or any relevant continuous improvement or project management certifications
  • Acting in a global environment
