Job Description:

Are you passionate about coding and crafting user-friendly web experiences ALPAKA is searching for a Junior Front-End Developer to collaborate with our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in HTML, CSS, and Javascript, with a keen interest in e-commerce platforms like Shopify. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in front-end development while contributing to the growth of a forward-thinking brand.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the development team to implement front-end solutions for ALPAKA's digital platforms.
• Utilize HTML, CSS, and Javascript to create responsive and visually appealing web pages.
• Assist in the maintenance and enhancement of our Shopify-based e-commerce platform.
• Contribute to the development and customization of themes and templates on Shopify.
• Support basic app development tasks and integrate third-party tools to optimize website functionality.
• Work closely with designers to ensure consistent brand representation and seamless user experiences.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in front-end development.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and Javascript.
• Prior experience with Shopify is highly desirable.
• Bonus points for familiarity with platforms like Wordpress/WooCommerce and basic app development knowledge.
• Strong English proficiency; Mandarin language skills are a bonus.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, with a mix of office and remote work.
