SEA Market Sales

We're on the hunt for a talented Southeast Asia Market salesperson with a knack for building relationships and a drive to bring in new business on behalf of our client from the steel manufacturing industry. This is a 5-day remote role and requires travel.

Key Responsibilities & Qualifications:

• Possess over 5 years of experience in the import/export of steel-related products, either as a Chinese national or a local from Southeast Asia.
• Experience in procurement or sales of steel products such as hot-rolled, cold-rolled, galvanized, and medium plate.
• Regularly visiting processing centers, stockists, end-users, etc in Southeast Asia to understand customer needs and local steel supply situations.
• Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing Southeast Asian clients, conducting regular visits, handling inquiries, providing timely quotations, and facilitating transactions.
• Demonstrate strong negotiation and business communication skills.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English as a working language.
• Proficiency in local languages is a plus.
• Demonstrating integrity, strong sense of responsibility, ability to handle pressure, and willingness to work hard.
• Prior experience in team management is preferred.
