Job Summary
As a Senior Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the successful execution of complex industrial construction and commissioning projects. You will lead a team of dedicated professionals, ensuring adherence to stringent safety, quality, and environmental standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the coordination, supervision, and management of erection and installation activities from project inception to completion.
- Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring alignment with client objectives and contractual requirements.
- Provide strategic guidance and direction to project team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
- Oversee the testing and commissioning process, conducting thorough system reviews and monitoring to ensure optimal performance of power assets.
- Conduct operability reviews to identify and address any potential operational challenges or inefficiencies.
- Collaborate closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to effectively manage project risks and mitigate potential delays or disruptions.
- Provide expert technical support and guidance during project development, including tender document review and contract negotiations.
- Support asset owners and operation teams during the warranty period post-project completion, overseeing the timely execution of punch list items and defect rectification works.
Qualifications
- Possess a degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum ten(10) years of experience in project management within the industrial construction or power generation sector; with PMP certification or equivalent project management credentials preferred.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering large-scale construction and commissioning projects, preferably in a senior leadership capacity.
- Strong technical expertise in industrial construction and commissioning processes, including erection, installation, testing, and commissioning.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
- In-depth knowledge of safety, quality, and environmental regulations and standards applicable to industrial construction projects.
- Willingness for frequent travel to multiple sites
