Senior Web Developer

Job Title: Senior PHP Developer Location: Bandar Puteri, Puchong Job Type: Full-Time Introduction: Join Maxunity Technology Sdn Bhd as a Senior PHP Developer to drive the innovation and maintenance of our web-based applications. Positioned in our technology team, you will contribute to the development and enhancement of our digital platforms, ensuring they meet high standards of scalability and reliability. Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain dynamic web applications using PHP and other relevant technologies.
• Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle from concept to deployment and support.
• Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code using best software development practices.
• Optimize existing software applications and infrastructure for speed and scalability.
• Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance the user experience.
• Participate in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code.
• Package and support deployment of releases.
• Develop and deploy new features to facilitate related procedures and tools if necessary.
• Maintain detailed documentation of all developed systems and their day-to-day processes.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.
• 3-5 years of proven software development experience in PHP.
• Proficiency in PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or Zend.
• Good understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Knowledge of object-oriented PHP programming.
• Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
• Experience with integrating multiple data sources and databases into one system.
• Familiarity with limitations of PHP as a platform and its workarounds.
• Passion for best design and coding practices and a desire to develop new bold ideas.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with building RESTful APIs.
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks (Vue.js, Angular, React).
• Understanding of open source projects like Joomla, Drupal, Wikis, osCommerce, etc.
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, Microsoft Azure) is a plus.
• Knowledge of PHP unit testing frameworks.
