Treasury Analyst (Kuching)

Play a vital role in managing the company's financial health by ensuring efficient cash flow, mitigating foreign exchange (FX) risk, and maintaining strong relationships with banking partners.

A public listed leader in manufacturing for nearly five decades, a major private-sector player in Sarawak, with more than 30 portfolios in industrial manufacturing, constructions, infrastructure, etc.

Description

Enhance cash flow forecasting accuracy through in-depth analysis of financial data and business trends.Manage FX exposure by developing and implementing effective hedging strategies to minimize foreign exchange risk.Act as the primary liaison with our banking partners, building and maintaining strong relationships.Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records.Manage various accounts, including concentration accounts, sweep accounts, and investment accounts.Prepare and analyze financial reports related to treasury activities.Stay abreast of current market trends and regulations impacting the treasury function.Assist with the development and implementation of treasury policies and procedures.

Profile

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (CPA or CMA a plus).Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a treasury analyst or similar role.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Working knowledge of FX markets and hedging strategies.Able to work in Kuching, Sarawak.
