Web Developer

THE JOB:

• Develop web interface and UI
• Build new features and fix bugs
• Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability
• Collaborate with other developers and team leader to improve website layout and features
• Write high-quality, clean, maintainable code using engineering best practices (unit testing, source control, continuous integration, automation, design patterns, etc.)

THE PERSON:

• Familiar with web 2.0 designs and trends
• Must have 2+ years of experience of PHP development experience
• Good understanding of JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
• Self-motivated, responsible and able to meet tight deadlines
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
