Land Development & BD Manager

We are looking for a dynamic Land Business Development Manager to identify, evaluate, and manage land development opportunities. The successful candidate will be responsible for cultivating relationships and partnerships to expand our land portfolio. This role requires strong negotiation skills, market knowledge, and strategic thinking to drive the company's land development objectives.

Description

Land Development:

• Identify and evaluate potential land developmentopportunities in target markets.
• Conduct market research, feasibility studies, and due diligence on prospective land parcels.
• Negotiate purchase agreements and contracts with landowners and sellers.

Relationship Building:

• Cultivate and maintain relationships with landowners, brokers, developers, and other stakeholders in the real estate industry.
• Attend industry events, networking functions, and trade shows to expand professional connections.

Market Analysis:

• Analyze market trends, demand drivers, and regulatory factors affecting land development opportunities.
• Monitor competitor activities and industry developments to identify potential threats and opportunities.

Project Management:

• Collaborate with internal teams, including legal, finance, and engineering, to assess project feasibility and mitigate risks.
• Oversee the development of project proposals, financial models, and business plans for land acquisition opportunities.
• Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models for land acquisition projects.
• Evaluate investment returns and profitability metrics to make informed decisions on land acquisitions.
• Coordinate due diligence activities, including environmental assessments, zoning evaluations, and title searches.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and obtain necessary approvals for land development projects.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Finance, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in land development, real estate development, or warehousing.
• Proven track record of successful land acquisitions and business development initiatives.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of real estate finance, zoning regulations, and land use planning.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
