Junior Data Analyst

Job Description

What you will do:

We build datadriven solutions in collaboration with airlines around the world. Data is the core asset of our business and data analysts are critical in unlocking the value of market and client data. You will be developing business logic and ensuring that products are insightful and tailored to meet the needs of our clients. There is lots of data to store many (scheduled) jobs to run and configurations to be dealt with. You use your knowledge of data engineering cloud queues streaming and graphs to work on the backbone of our data infrastructures. Furthermore you will;

• Design implement and manage data pipelines that ingest vast amounts of data from various sources.
• Plan technical solutions and deploy the data architecture using cloudbased technologies.
• Make data available and execute pipelines and scale sets for data science.

Job Requirements

What youll need

• A technical/quantitative degree or a similar educational background.
• 1 2 years of experience in extraction transformation and loading data in a modern data management infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• You are excited about working with the latest technologies in data modelling data warehousing and cloud technology.
• Preferably you have some knowledge of the Hadoop ecosystem Databricks and Apache Spark.
• You are curious and proactive and feel at ease in an informal and professional setting where you get a lot of freedom and responsibility.
• You feel at ease in crosscultural and multidisciplinary teams.
• You are a resident of Malaysia.
• You possess a valid work permit for Malaysia.

Where is the position located

This role is based in a newly established office in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. The Malaysia office specializes in Software Engineering Data Engineering and Data Analysis. You will collaborate with talented tech colleagues.
