As an Intern within the Human Resources department, you will primarily be responsible for assisting in recruitment processes and facilitating the onboarding of new employees. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in HR functions, particularly in recruitment and onboarding practices.  Recruitment: -Assist in drafting job descriptions and posting them on various job boards and platforms. -Screen resumes and applications to shortlist qualified candidates. -Coordinate interview schedules and communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process. -Conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidate suitability. -Maintain candidate databases and ensure all recruitment records are accurately documented. -Participate in recruitment events, job fairs, and campus recruitment activities as needed. Onboarding: -Collaborate with HR team members and department heads to ensure smooth onboarding processes for new hires. -Coordinate new hire orientation sessions and assist in delivering presentations. -Act as a point of contact for new employees, addressing any questions or concerns they may have during the onboarding process. -Assist in setting up new hire workstations and ensuring all necessary equipment and resources are provided. -Conduct follow-up meetings with new hires to gather feedback and address any issues or concerns. Administrative Support: -Provide general administrative support to the HR team, including data entry, filing, and maintaining employee records. -Assist in preparing reports and presentations related to recruitment and onboarding activities. -Participate in HR meetings and contribute ideas for process improvements and best practices.
