Automation Engineer - Intern

A. Aim of the scope of work

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Test Automation Intern to support the design, development, maintenance, and enhancement of our test automation frameworks. This role provides hands-on experience with web, mobile, and Java application automation tools, Jenkins CI/CD pipelines, and environment setup. It is an excellent opportunity to collaborate with experienced professionals in a dynamic environment.

B. Main activities

1. Test Automation Development:

Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using industry-standard tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cucumber, Postman).

2. Tool Support and Maintenance:

Help in maintaining the automation test environments and ensuring the reliability of test setups. Contribute to the optimization of existing automation frameworks.

3. Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with software developers, QA analysts, and project managers to understand project requirements and timelines.

Participate in team meetings, code reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions.

C. Requirements

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Basic understanding of software development and testing principles.

Familiarity with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python).

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).

Knowledge of test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Postman) is a plus.

An individual of absolute, unquestioned professional ethics and integrity.

Able to act autonomously but also to collaborate strongly with internal resources.

Able to operate across functions, and to handle numerous stakeholders.
