The Integrity Team acts as guardians of all our users on Grab. As Risk Analysts within Integrity, we leverage our rich datasets to build insight and find solutions ranging from safety to fraud. We're a hands-on team interested in the end to end data life-cycle, from analyzing the risky behavior of our consumers and identifying anomalies to building detection and prevention modules for any suspicious activities. Get to Know the Role

We are seeking an analytical Risk Analytics Intern to join our team in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. This internship opportunity offers a chance to gain hands-on experience in the dynamic field of risk management while working with a team of experienced professionals.

You will report to Senior Analytics Manager, Risk Analytics and this is a paid internship role.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• Analyze massive passenger, driver, and merchant data to develop insights on user behaviors or risks
• Maintain and monitor key metrics and alert the business on potential issues. Create/enhance dashboards to provide a granular, comprehensive view of key business and risk metrics
• Develop and communicate insights and recommended actions to stakeholders to reduce risk by contributing towards rules, machine learning models, and other detection systems
• Leverage latest gen AI technologies to aid automation and self serve of metric reporting and RCA
• Conduct data investigations and analysis on suspicious trends and insights that have been identified by stakeholders
• Beta test risk platform tools created for scalability and collaborate with data science and engineering teams to improve the usability and adoption amongst analysts

What Essential Skills You Will Need

• You will need to start the internship in July 2025 with a minimum duration of 3 months.
• A degree in Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Information Technology, Data Sciences, Math or related fields.
• Foundation in data query/manipulation of large scale data using SQL and data visualization experience using tools such as Tableau/Power BI
• Experience of any of the data analysis tools such as R, Python, SPSS, SAS, and more advanced data analysis methods
• Open to learn and explore Gen AI technologies for enhancing automation and self serve capabilities for analytics
• Passionate about solving problems – has a need for investigation and data exploration
