Our mobile engineering team is a dynamic group of experienced individuals who are passionate about developing mobile solutions that enhance merchant experiences. We collaborate with teams to design, product manager and QA to build mobile applications that support Grab's mission. You'll join a team that values creativity, teamwork, and learning.

Get to Know the Role 

As a Flutter Mobile Engineer at Grab, reporting to the Software Engineering Manager II, you will develop mobile applications using the latest technologies, covering the entire lifecycle from concept to delivery. Your role includes enhancing the user experience and functionality of Grab's merchant app. This is a paid internship role and is based onsite in Petaling Jaya.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• You will design advanced mobile applications using Flutter.
• You will collaborate with teams to design and ship new features.
• You will work with internal data sources and APIs.
• You will unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
• You will discover new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

What Essential Skills You Will Need

• Only for candidates who are available to start in July 2025 for 3 to 6 months.

• Interested in Flutter development and Dart programming, and experience.
• Gain experience on mobile development frameworks and best practices.
• Gain experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
