Project Title: Front of Line (FOL) Productivity & Utilization Tracking and Execution Visibility Enhancement

Description

This project supports FOL productivity and utilization improvement by strengthening basic performance tracking, data consolidation, and execution visibility. The internship focuses on providing structured support to operations through utilization monitoring, gap identification, and follow‑up tracking, while giving the intern meaningful exposure to manufacturing floor operations and supervisory practices.

Scope

• Track FOL productivity and utilization performance on a regular basis
• Consolidate production and utilization data into structured trackers
• Highlight performance gaps and support follow‑up actions with operations teams
• Improve execution visibility for productivity and utilization initiatives
• Support daily or weekly reporting for operational review

Supporting Team

• FOL Operations / Production Supervisors
• Manufacturing Operations Management
• Planning / Industrial Engineering (as applicable)

Deliverables

• FOL productivity and utilization tracking tools (Excel‑based)

Stretch Goal

• Ability to apply engineering concepts to analyze productivity or process gaps using manufacturing data (including cycle time, utilization, capacity, or quality trends), support continuous improvement initiatives, and present clear, data‑driven, actionable recommendations as part of an internship project.

Requirement

• Bachelor in Electrical & Electronics Engineering
• Foundational understanding of manufacturing engineering fundamentals, including awareness of process flow, work‑in‑progress (WIP), and basic production performance indicators (such as output, yield, and cycle time)
• Willingness to learn in a manufacturing environment
• Learn basic production or engineering data analysis using common tools (e.g. Excel), and demonstrate professional conduct, good communication skills with strong learning attitude
