Get to Know the Team

The Scaled Ops team develops tools offering detailed insights into platform health and performance, aiming to empower marketplace teams to achieve outcomes for Grab through these insights and intelligence.

Get to Know the Role

You will contribute to both front-end and back-end development using React and JavaScript/TypeScript for the front-end and Golang for the back-end. Additionally, you'll help build data streams and pipelines.

You will report to the Senior Software Engineering Manager and this role is based onsite in Petaling Jaya.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• You will collaborate with the development team to build web applications.
• You will participate in the full software development lifecycle, following Agile methodology with 2-week sprints.
• You will write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, and troubleshoot and debug web applications.
• You will participate in code reviews and offer constructive feedback to team members.

What Essential Skills You Will Need

• Open to candidates available from July to December 2025, studying Software Engineering or Computer Science.
• Proficient in front-end development with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript, and experienced with ReactJS.
• Experience with at least one back-end language: Python, Golang, Java, or C++.
• Understand RESTful API design and familiar with version control systems like Git.
