Internship: RM1,200.00 

Back to school Part time: RM50/hr

Long-term potential: 

Path to Full-Time: High-performing interns will be offered a full-time position as an Online Math Teacher upon graduation.

Full time pay immediately after probation: RM3,500 + RM300 (Transportation Allowance)

Remote Flexibility: Fully remote opportunity, subject to performance and team needs

Internship Details:

• This is a fully on-site internship program, ideal for students who are passionate about education and aspire to become Math Teachers


• Structured Training: Take part in our 2-week Teaching Training Program, a hands-on learning experience covering teaching techniques, public speaking, and classroom management — all designed to help you grow and shine as an educator. 


• After the 2-week training, a final assessment will be held to determine your suitability for the teaching role. If it’s not the right fit, we’ll explore other roles that better match your strengths.


• Growth: Throughout the program, you’ll be guided by a mentor who will support your learning journey, share insights, and help you reach your full potential.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct engaging online math lessons using the Think Academy Teaching Platform. 


• Deliver effective instruction based on Think Academy’s curriculum and teaching guidelines. 


• Create a positive and inclusive virtual classroom environment for up to 20 students, encouraging interaction and collaborative learning. 


• Regularly track and evaluate student performance, offering timely and personalized feedback to both students and their parents. 


• Review and grade assignments, providing additional academic support when necessary. 


• Take part in other teaching-related tasks, such as administering diagnostic assessments for new students. 

Qualifications:

• Open to final-year students from all academic backgrounds.


• English Proficiency: Strong command of English in all areas—reading, writing, speaking, and listening. Candidates must be able to communicate ideas clearly and effectively, ensuring smooth interaction with students and colleagues.


• Maths Procifiency: A minimum grade of B (or equivalent) in SPM Mathematics (or similar qualification) is required


• Passion for Education: Must have a genuine enthusiasm for teaching and working with children, along with a strong sense of responsibility. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building meaningful relationships with students and parents.
