IT Intern - Subang Jaya

This position will support the smooth running of existing systems, assist with compliance to Group and Local IT policies, and contribute to the implementation and upgrade of systems. The role also provides exposure to basic programming, scripting, and end-user support, offering hands-on learning in a real IT operational environment.

In this role you will be responsible for:

System Administration, User Support & Basic Scripting

• Assist in installing and configuring computer hardware, operating systems, and applications.
• Support troubleshooting of system and network issues, including basic hardware and software faults.
• Provide day-to-day end-user IT support under supervision.
• Assist in maintaining IT assets and inventory records.
• Support documentation of procedures, technical notes, and simple reports.
• Assist with basic scripting or automation tasks to improve IT operations (e.g., simple scripts for data handling, automation, or system support tasks).
• Support system implementation, upgrades, and testing activities as required.

Duration: Depending on your university's requirement

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Pursuing degree in IT/Computer Science or related fields

• Basic knowledge or exposure to the following is required:

1. Windows 10 & 11 operating systems
2. Microsoft Office product suites
3. Computer setup, troubleshooting, and formatting

• Basic knowledge or interest in programming / scripting (any of the following is an advantage):

1. Scripting languages such as JavaScript, or similar
2. Basic understanding of logic, automation, or simple coding concepts

• Willingness to learn new technologies and tools.
• Good communication and analytical skills.
• A team player who is also able to work independently when required.
• Responsible, committed, and eager to gain practical IT and technical experience.
