As a JTI Talent Intern in Finance, you will accelerate your professional growth and execution capability by:

• Supporting the Finance & Entity Controlling team in key account reconciliations, provisions tracking, and fixed asset verification, ensuring accurate and reliable financial information for internal stakeholders.


• Working with real finance datasets, applying analytical thinking to improve data quality, clarity, and exception review processes that support effective decision-making.


• Taking ownership for assigned tasks and mini projects such as developing structured finance templates or coordinating verification exercises with asset owners across the business.


• Interacting with partners from multiple functions, gaining exposure to corporate ways of working, stakeholder management, and professional communication.


• Developing practical skills in financial analysis, reporting, Excel, and business data interpretation, while learning how Finance supports decision-making in a multinational organisation.


• We are looking for motivated, analytical, and meticulous students who are eager to learn and contribute significantly!

Requirements:

• Malaysian citizen who is currently a full‑time undergraduate student at a recognised university or college


• Available to commit to the internship for at least 4 months (16 weeks)


• Studying Accounting, Finance, Data Science / Business Analytics, Business Management, or a related course with strong exposure to numbers


• Comfortable working with numbers, data, and spreadsheets, and curious about how data supports business decisions


• Careful with details, dependable, and willing to take ownership of tasks from start to finish


• Communicates well in English, works comfortably with others, and has basic to strong Excel skills (experience with Power BI or data tools is a plus)
