Job Description

FGV Palm Industries Sdn. Bhd. invites dynamic and motivated fresh graduates to join the Mill Cadet Engineer Program (MCEP). This 1 year program is designed to provide hands-on experience and in-depth training in mill operations, preparing participants to become skilled Mill Engineers within the palm oil industry. Trainees will assigned at different mills, gaining practical insights and expertise in engineering, process management, and safety. High performers may be offered full-time positions as Mill Engineers upon successful completion of the program.

Key Responsibilities:

• On-Site Training: Engage in the day-to-day operations of various mills to understand the full spectrum of palm oil processing, equipment management, and system optimization.

• Process Improvement: Support initiatives for maximizing operational efficiency, enhancing productivity, and ensuring high-quality output while reducing environmental impact.

• Equipment Maintenance: Assist with preventative and corrective maintenance activities on critical equipment to ensure minimal downtime and maintain safety standards.

• Quality Assurance: Work with the quality team to monitor product standards, ensuring that crude palm oil (CPO) and kernel products meet required specifications.

• Safety & Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols, FGV’s environmental standards, and industry regulations to foster a safe and sustainable work environment.

• Data Management & Reporting: Collect and analyze operational data to support the decision-making process, including the preparation of periodic reports and tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work with experienced engineers and team members from various departments to understand integrated operations and drive best practices.

Requirement:

• Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of experience in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or related engineering fields.

• Problem-solvers with a proactive attitude and eagerness to learn.

• Willingness to be relocated (Cadets will be relocated at the FGVPI's mills around Malaysia)
