About the role


We're looking for a People Intern to support our People & Talent function as we scale. You'll work directly with our People Lead on a mix of HR operations, data work, process automation, and recruitment, getting broad exposure to what it really takes to run people ops at a fast-growing fintech.



This is not a filing-and-admin internship. You'll be doing real work that ships.



What you'll do



People Ops & Data



  • Audit and clean up employee data in BambooHR (our HRIS)

  • Identify and fix data gaps, inconsistencies, and outdated records

  • Maintain data accuracy across fields like employment status, role, location, and comp

  • Support day-to-day HR operations: onboarding, offboarding, contract admin

  • Help maintain and organize HR documentation and templates

  • Track tasks and follow-ups in Jira



Automation & Self-Service



  • Help build and test automated workflows using Claude AI

  • Assist in creating self-service tools for employees (e.g. policy lookup, leave guidance)

  • Document processes so they're repeatable and easy to hand over



Recruitment Support



  • Assist with scheduling interviews and candidate communications

  • Help maintain recruitment trackers and pipelines

  • Get exposure to sourcing, screening, and offer coordination



Who we're looking for



  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field

  • Detail-oriented: you notice when data is wrong and you fix it

  • Tech-comfortable: not afraid to learn new tools; bonus if you've used AI tools before

  • Proactive: you ask questions, flag issues, and follow through

  • Good written communication in English

  • Based in Malaysia
