Product Support Intern

About the Role

Igloo is seeking a detail-oriented intern with an insurance background to support our daily operations and product quality assurance. This is a hands-on role where you will help ensure our insurance products work perfectly on partner platforms (e-commerce apps) and assist the team with essential market research and reporting.

1. Operational Support

• Daily Health Checks: Conduct routine manual checks on partner apps (e.g., checking checkout pages on partner platforms) to ensure insurance add-ons are appearing as designed.
• Claims Process Testing: Regularly review the claims submission portal to verify that forms, and uploads inputs are working as expected for customers.
• Product Mapping Support: Assist the operations team in mapping data with insurance products.
  
  

2. Market Research & Competitor Tracking

• Price Benchmarking: Browse platforms to record insurance pricing, coverage limits, and promo rates for comparisons.
• User Journey Audits: Act as a "keen-eyed customer" to check terms or details in the "Terms & Conditions" and fine print of insurance products.
• Documentation: Compile screenshots and notes on user interfaces (UI) to help the team understand market trends.
  

3. Data Support & Reporting

• Data Hygiene: Assist in cleaning and organizing raw data in Excel to prepare it for analysis.
• Performance Tracking: Help update daily or weekly tracking sheets related to policy sales, premiums, and claims.
  

Administrative Support: Support the teams with meeting scheduling, preparing slide decks for reviews, and other ad-hoc administrative tasks.

Requirements

• Education: Undergraduate student in Mathematics, Economics, Insurance, or Actuarial Science.
• Essential Skills:

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) for reporting.

High attention to detail (able to spot broken flows or incorrect descriptions).

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Nice to Have:

Experience with SQL or Python (or a willingness to learn).

Experience with AI such as ChatGPT or Gemini.

Passion with e-commerce shopping (Shopee/Lazada).
