Accounts Payable - Remote Work

Job Description:

Petron Malaysia is seeking a remote Accounts Payable Associate to join our team in Johor Bahru, Johor. As an Associate Level position, the ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in accounts payable and possess strong organizational and analytical skills.

Responsibilities: - Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently - Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies - Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions - Assist in month-end closing processes - Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments - Investigate and resolve any billing issues or discrepancies - Communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams - Assist with ad-hoc financial projects as needed

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred - 2+ years of experience in accounts payable - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software - Adaptability and resourcefulness in a remote work environment - Strong strategic planning skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
