Remote Accountant

Job Description:

AirAsia Group Berhad is seeking a Remote Accountant to join our team on a part-time basis. As a key member of the finance department, the Remote Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, analyzing financial data, and providing recommendations to improve financial performance. The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in accounting and possess a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements - Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes - Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information - Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes - Provide financial insights to management to support strategic decision-making - Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies - Collaborate with internal teams to streamline financial processes - Participate in financial audits as needed

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance - Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role - Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities - Resilient and adaptable to changing priorities and deadlines - Creative thinking and strong data analysis skills
