Accountant

Job Description:

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team at Genting Group in George Town, Penang. As an entry-level position, this part-time role offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience in accounting and finance within a reputable organization.

Responsibilities: - Assist with financial record-keeping and reporting - Prepare and analyze financial statements - Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities - Support the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes - Assist with tax filings and compliance - Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely financial information - Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance - Independent and confident personality traits - Strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work effectively in a team environment - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software - No prior experience required, but a willingness to learn and grow in the role
