Remote Accountant

Job Description:

SIRIM Berhad is seeking a motivated and passionate Remote Accountant to join our team in Johor Bahru, Johor, MY. This part-time position is perfect for someone who is looking to kickstart their accounting career and gain valuable experience in a supportive and inclusive working environment.

Responsibilities: - Manage financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, budgeting, and financial reporting - Prepare and maintain financial records and reports in compliance with company policies and procedures - Assist in the development and implementation of financial strategies and plans - Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial operations - Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks - Provide support to other departments as needed on financial matters - Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and best practices in accounting

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and in a team environment - Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Excel - Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently
